Quicksilver European Sup Roma Event One 2012 Eurosupa

The Roma Event-one 2012 is organizing a beach race competition of 7 km and a second additional path beach sprint race of 3,5 km, with the aim of promoting the Stand-up paddle (SUP).

This contest aims to become a landmark in the calendar of national and international cruises in open water.

The Rome Event One believes in the philosophy that any person who has enthusiasm, perseverance, discipline and humility can grapple with this test in the open sea and enjoy the feeling of being able to win it!

That's why to attend to REO contests we don’t require any accreditation or particular document: each person knows his own ability and that's the beauty of sport.

This trip in the open sea gives all participants the opportunity to experience the challenge of paddling along the north coast of Rome. It is a challenge of incredible beauty: it takes place in the Natural Reserve  of Maccarese.

The contest SUP RACE (7km) will be organized as follows:

One lap= 3.5 km

Two lap= 7 km

Start on the beach

Run of 30 meters with sup in hand under arch red bull

Arrival REDBULL arch on the beach

It will be split into the following categories:

• a) 3,5 km: Rambla beach sprint race (leisure, saturday) race:

Any board size, prize for all finishing and publication of times and on-board measures. One Lap of track

START: On the beach

Skipper meeting h 10:00

Start race: 10:30

• b) 7 km: Beach race competition (sunday):

Elite Category: 12.6 'beach race Eurosupa Ranking 2012 (male / female): 2.000,00 euros prize money and ranking the ranking Eurosupa.

Open or 14 'category (male / female): Gifts and podium

Open or Unlimited: Boards> 14 '(male / female): Gifts and podium

START: On the beach

After the first lap arrival at the beach, run of 30 meters with sup in hand back in water to the last lap.

ONE LAP: Amateur

TWO LAP: professional athletes

Skipper meeting h 10:30

Start race: 11:00

The second contest RACE (3,5 km) will be:

Race competition will start at 10:00 am by the establishment of the Rambla.

After 30 minutes will begin the junior race, with a circuit of 3,5 km.

The starting line will be in the water, standing on the table, or kneeling, with no initial velocity.

The arrival will cross an imaginary line in the water, as indicated by the organization at La Rambla showing key points of the Race Competition
